IMHSA is an association comprising Muslim Students of College of Health Sciences OAU, School of Nursing, and School of Health Information and Management OAUTHC.
In conducting its functions and affairs, the Organization shall abide by the rules of the Qur’an (Revelation from Almighty God to Prophet Muhammad) and Sunnah (teachings of the Prophet Muhammad). This is the guide and the basic of our association.IMHSA WORLD is the mother, we have IMHSA in many countries (national) e.g. IMHSA NIGERIA, IMHSA INDONESIA, IMHSA GERMANY, IMHSA LIBERIA etc and we have IMHSA in different universities (local) eg IMHSA UI, IMHSA BUK, IMHSA OAU.
The aim and purposes of the Association is to:
To maintain high Islamic ethics among Muslim Health students in member institutions (School of nursing (OAUTHC), school of health information(OAUTHC), college of health sciences OAU/OAUTHC) .
To encourage professional excellence among Muslim Health students in member institutions.
To foster unity among Muslim Health Students in particular and the Muslim community as a whole.
To safeguard the interest and welfare of Muslim Health Students.
To help in the course of Islam and render Health services.
To enlighten Muslims and the general public on Health related matters.
To encourage Muslim Students in secondary schools to take up medical and paramedical profession in their future career.
